Civil Protection Operational Unit
The Operational Unit is responsible for managing the post-emergency phases associated with a civil protection event in which the COC has been activated, in order to take care of all the procedures necessary for a return to normality.

This involves overseeing all procedures necessary for a return to normality, including the management of interventions, including emergency interventions, to immediately address the event, as well as those related to any damage suffered by private individuals. It is responsible for:
- Management of the post-emergency phase for activities related to the return to normality Planning and execution of civil protection interventions in the post-emergency phase
- Post-emergency management of activities related to private claims for damages related to the event
- Support in the organization and management of the COC
