The Office is responsible for activities and interventions aimed at ensuring and improving the environmental status of its territory, in compliance with current regulations, and promoting and disseminating environmental culture.

Skills

Administrative management (preparation of invoice settlement orders, correspondence, etc.) of all platforms contracted by the Municipality for street sweeping, collection, and transportation for disposal of sorted, unsorted, and hazardous waste.
Management of relationships with Conai supply chain consortia (Corepla, Comieco, Centro RAEE, Centro Naz. Pile), with the SRR Messina Metropolitan Area, and with the Regional Waste Department.
Enter monthly data into the ORSO 3 (Supra-regional Waste Observatory) application regarding all waste produced within the municipal area.
Preparation of the Single Environmental Declaration Form (MUD) to be submitted annually to the competent Chamber of Commerce for the territory.
Issuing electronic invoices to private individuals (Corepla, Comieco, Coripet, Centro RAEE Consortia, etc.) for the sale of plastic packaging, paper/cardboard, electrical and electronic equipment, used batteries, metals, etc.
Waste accounting (weight, costs incurred, income) for preparation of the PEF (Economic and Financial Plan) for TARI payment purposes.
Training and maintenance of the register of domestic composters.
Contract execution with the company managing street sweeping, waste collection, and transportation for disposal, as well as other public hygiene services within the municipality.
