The Office is responsible for processing the procedures for naming new traffic areas; changing the names of existing streets, if necessary; assigning external house numbers to homes; revising house numbers and street names, if necessary; assigning and/or revising internal numbering; updating house numbers and street names during general population censuses; developing and maintaining updated street maps, island maps, and section itineraries; arranging the purchase and installation of street name plates; and convening the Toponymy Commission.

The offices are open to the public during the months of
July and August on the following days:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday from 09,00 to 12,30.

January, February, March, April, May, June, September, October, November and December on the following days:
