Notice – Periodic update of the polling station presidents' register

Please be advised that within the month of October, for the purposes of periodically updating the register of persons eligible for the office of President of the electoral office, citizens registered in the electoral lists of this municipality who possess the eligibility requirements may request, if they are not already, to be included in the appropriate register, by submitting an application on plain paper to the Mayor in which they must declare: surname and name,
residence, place and date of birth, profession, telephone number and email address.
Certify that you possess the following requirements:

1. Registration on the electoral rolls of this Municipality;
2. Possession of a qualification (not lower than a secondary school diploma);
3. Not having exceeded the age of 75

That within the month of NOVEMBER the voters of this Municipality, in possession of the prescribed requirements
They may submit an application to the Mayor to be included, if not already registered, in the register provided for by Article 1 of Law No. 120 of April 30, 1999, from which scrutineers will be appointed for political elections or referendums. For administrative elections (Municipal and Regional), specific applications must be submitted according to the instructions and deadlines communicated by the Prefecture of Messina.

The application, written on plain paper, must state: surname and name, residence, place and date of birth, and certify that they possess the following requirements:

1. Registration on the electoral rolls of this Municipality;
2. Possession of a compulsory school qualification.

The following are excluded from the functions of President of the section electoral office, scrutineer and secretary:

1. Employees of the Ministry of the Interior, of Post and Telecommunications and of Transport and of companies operating regional or local public transport services;
2. Members of the Armed Forces in service;
3. Provincial doctors, health officials and medical officers;
4. Municipal secretaries and municipal employees assigned or ordered to provide service at municipal electoral offices;
5. The candidates in the elections for which the vote is taking place;
6. Those who have passed the age of 75.

The application, as required by Articles 21 and 38 of Presidential Decree 28-12-2000 No. 445, must be signed by the interested party in the presence of the employee in charge of receiving the application (Municipal Incoming Mail Office) or signed and submitted together with a non-certified photocopy of the signatory's identity document, also via certified email, exclusively to one of the following accounts:

The application form is available on the Agency's website, or can be picked up directly at the electoral office or incoming mail room, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. every working day (except Saturdays).
