Update of the fire registry, pursuant to Article 10, paragraph 2 of Law No. 353/2000 and subsequent amendments – approval of the provisional list for 2024 – of the areas affected by the fire.

Given that with resolution of the Municipal Council no. 63 of 22/12/2025, the register of stands affected by fire was updated and adopted pursuant to Law no. 353 of 21.11.2000 for the year 2024,

Please be advised that in order to proceed with thefinal approval of the updated list of the “fire registry”, pursuant to art. 10, paragraph 2, of Law 21/11/2000 n. 353, are published on the online notice board and on the institutional website of the Municipality, for 30 consecutive days, the lists and plans relating to the areas whose stands have been affected by fires for the year 2024.

Please be advised that the owners of the areas included in the aforementioned lists or anyone interested can submit their observations:

• written in paper form at the protocol office;
• in the middle PEC at:comunebarcellonapdg@postecert.it;
• at Email of the reference official;

no later than 30 days after the date of publication of this notice, or by 31/01/2026.

The technical documents attached to the above resolution consist of the following tables: available online, as attached to this notice:

– General overview of fires for the year 2024;

– Detailed analyses of individual events that affected wooded areas;

• Fire details year 2024 – 07/18/2024 Zigari;
• Fire details year 2024 – 02/08/2024 Mortellito;
• Fire details year 2024 – 09/08/2024 Centineo;
• Fire details for the year 2024 – 08/09/2024 Gurafi.

This notice, pursuant to art. 32 of Law no. 69/2009 and subsequent amendments, is published on the online notice board of the Municipality of Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto and to the Section “Announcements".

The same is sent together with the attachments, for information, to the competent Forestry Corps Command via certified email to the address: comando.corpo.forestale@certmail.regione.sicilia.it .

With reference to this procedure, we inform you that:

• The procedure, without prejudice to any suspensions that may be necessary, will end within 60 days of the expiry of the terms of this notice;
• All parties involved in the procedure have the possibility of take note of the documents, within the limits established by the law on the right of access, at the Environment office, on the days when the public is received, by appointment to be made by telephone (090 /9790520) by email to the person responsible for the procedure;
