In relation to meteorological information, the Municipal Administration informs the citizens that, following the Orange alert bulletin expected for tomorrow, March 16th, it has ordered the closure of nursery schools and schools of all levels, both public and private, operating within the municipal territory, as well as the closure to the public of the municipal cemetery, the municipal villa, public parks, the "Cairoli" youth centre and municipal sports facilities, For the day March 16, 2026, subject to further provisions (Ordinance no. 21/2026)
Citizens are urged to limit their travel to strictly essential cases and to avoid parking their vehicles near trees, power lines, and lampposts, which could be particularly dangerous given the expected strong wind gusts. Everyone is encouraged to actively participate in this regard, as an important contribution to the prevention, control, and monitoring activities that municipal offices will carry out throughout the duration of the forecasted weather events.
