Electronic payment with PagoPA

Description

PagoPA is a system that makes it easier simple, safe and transparent all payments to the Public Administration. PagoPA is mandatory for all Public Administrations and a growing number of banks and payment institutions, the so-called Paid Service Providers – PSP).

With the introduction of PagoPA, citizens are free to choose how to pay, with clear disclosure of the applicable commission fees, and public administrations can significantly reduce collection management costs, which are significant given the number of transactions and volumes.

Who is it for?

To all citizens who must make a payment to the Municipality.

Payments can be:

  • expected, requested by the Institution in response to a debt position such as taxes, rent, stamps, bills, fees...;
  • spontaneous, that is, carried out on the citizen's own initiative in response to a request for the service.

How do

To make payments to the municipality, citizens must log in to their personal area, go to the "payments" section, and then choose the payment type from:

  • expected;
  • spontaneous;

and then proceed with the payment.

For spontaneous payments, when [Print notice] is selected, a due date is generated with a deadline the following day, which the citizen can pay, like all 3 forms, via the chosen payment service provider's channel (typically a physical channel - Post Offices, Lottery Shops, Tobacconists, ATMs, etc.).

If you decide to pay online, you must log back into your personal area, under Payments - Due, and proceed with the payment.

What is needed

To make payments, you must have an authentication method (SPID or CIE).

For spontaneous payments, you must enter your email address and indicate the payment macro area.

What you get

You have the option of making a payment to the municipality for a requested service or for a debt position.

Times and deadlines

Payment through the PagoPA node is acquired automatically by the Institution.

When the PSP confirms the success of the operation, it proceeds to send the credit to the Institution, which receives it, generally within 24 hours, the payment and the information to register it in favor of the citizen.

How much

The cost varies depending on:

  • of the PSP (payment service provider);
  • of the place (where the printed bill is paid);
  • of the bank (if we proceed with the online payment).

Log in to the service
