Description

The "public land occupation permit" service allows interested parties to request authorization to occupy public land.

The occupation of public land is a onerous concession, requiring the payment of a stamp duty and administrative fees to the competent office.

The public land for which a request for occupation has been submitted and obtained can be occupied:

  • only temporarily;
  • only from those who have requested it.

Who is it for?

The "public land occupation permit" service is aimed at:

  • natural persons (citizens);
  • legal entities (associations, companies and institutions)

who intend to request authorization to occupy public land.

How do

To request a permit to occupy public land, citizens can:

  • fill out the application online, using the dedicated digital service;
  • make an appointment with the relevant office and go to the counter.

The request can only be made by the person interested in obtaining the permit.

What is needed

To correctly complete the application, the citizen must provide the necessary documentation and information:

 

  • The information required is: - address of the public land you intend to occupy; - square meters for which you are requesting occupation; - reason for requesting occupation; - period of occupation. The documentation to be attached varies based on the type of request and the reason for requesting the permit.
  • For permits for construction projects, the following are required: - SCIA/CILA; - photo of the site.
  • For permits for businesses offering food and beverage services, the following are required: - food and beverage license; - photo of the location; - declaration of TARI payment compliance; - declaration of customer limit.
  • For permits for moving or unloading goods, photos of the location are required. If the request concerns a company or association, the following documents are required: - articles of association; - bylaws.

What you get

If the citizen's request is accepted, he or she obtains what he or she has requested, namely the issuing of a permit to occupy public land.

Times and deadlines

The Authority will communicate the outcome of the request for a permit to occupy public land within a maximum of 30 days of the submission of the request.

How much

To use the service, the applicant is required to make the following payments:

  • €20,00 for investigation fees at the municipal police command;
  • €70,00 for roadside office investigation fees;
  • €16,00 for the application stamp
  • €16,00 for the authorization stamp

Further information

Once the competent authorities have approved the permit, the Office will calculate the required fees and issue the user with the required payment to cover the authorization process.
